Minister for Roads, Tim Pallas is back on the road. Pallas has cancelled appearances at community meetings and prefers to have “displays” which give resdients no new information. Down the track, these “displays” will be passed off as Community CONsultation.
After coming to Sunshine and providing no new information on how many homes will be destroyed in socio-economically disadvantaged areas so a road tunnel of questionable value can be built, a second “display” has been organised for Footscray residents.
Respect the West encourages residents of the Western Suburbs to attend this meeting and demand answers from Tim Pallas.
Mr Pallas’ own staff lied to Respect the West prior to release of the Victorian Transport Plan – promising meetings and briefings that have never transpired – we haven’t forgotten.
